Is Bachmann a Koch sucker or what?

That’s funny because it’s true.

I believe Koch Industries’ local branch is now known as “Flint Hills” – they run the refineries at Pine Bend, just west of Hastings.

They got nicked for a pretty good chunk of change in fines for lousy maintenance of their pipelines (sound familiar?)
and were allowed to pay part of it by sponsoring a bunch of feel-good events like international children’s music festivals at the Ordway.

The present generation of Kochs consists of 3 brothers, two of whom have been described by the third one as a pair of crooks who deliberately and consistently understate their supplied materials and overstated their deliveries. And these two are very definitely way over on the right wingtip, funding all manner of noxious enterprises.

Truly a pair of great examples of why we need to return to the Estate Tax as it was during the Eisenhower years – those same years they now think of as so wonderfully golden and glorious.
