Pastor behind controversial ad ‘not a racist,’ seeks to convert Muslims
Wednesday, June 02, 2010 at 1:27 pm
“I am not a racist,” says Rev. Dennis Campbell of the response to an ad he placed in the St. Cloud Times in March that stated, “Moslems [sic] seek to influence a nation by immigration, reproduction, education, the government, illegal drugs and by supporting the gay agenda.” In a report on Minnesota Public Radio today, Campbell says his intention was religious conversion. “I think some people misjudged the article… Jesus is the key to heaven. That’s why we’re interested in helping them not to follow a religion of any kind: Protestant, Christian or Eastern or whatever. But rather to come to a place where they’re willing to acknowledge Jesus Christ as their savior and lord.”
The Granite City Baptist Church ad, first covered by the Minnesota Independent in March, claimed that “in 30 years there will be 50 million Moslems in America,” and that they’ll “destroy the constitution and force the Moslem religion on the society, take freedom of religion away, and they will persecute all other religions.”
But Campbell tells MPR that those upset by the ad should re-read the last paragraph, which calls Christians to “influence the Moslems for Jesus Christ.”
“If the whole aim of this article was to convert people, there are other ways that the pastor can convert people to his religion,” Alikhadar Yusuf, a St. Cloud imam, told MPR. “But this type of language when you use it in an article — and a lot of people will read this article — it will create a lot of fear.”
The appeared as racial and religious tensions continued to flare up in and around St. Cloud. In December, fliers mocking Islam were found on area telephone poles, and last week news came that the U.S. Department of Education was investigating cases of alleged harassment of area Muslim students. Campbell’s ad sparked a rebuttal ad campaign of sorts from the Council on American Islamic Relations.
But it’s not the first time Campbell’s has referenced Islam or, for that matter, homosexuality. Several church newsletters opine about the influence of gays, lesbians, liberals and communists, including one edition (pdf) in which Campbell lamented that secular textbook publishers “are pressured to to portray feminists, homosexuals, and Muslims in a positive light.” He continued, “We need textbooks that are free from political and philosophical influences that contradict the TRUTH of the Bible or historical facts. “

Another ugly little bigot masquerading behind his religion. Michele Bachmann and Tom Emmer will welcome him with open arms.

I’m sure the Taliban and the Saudis and the Iranians will be extremely surprised to learn that they’ve been supporting the Gay Agenda™. This idiot pastor’s religion is no better than any other backwards system of mythology, and he needs to stop pretending that his shit doesn’t stink.

“destroy the constitution and force the Muslem religion on the society, take freedom of religion away, and they will persecute all other religions.”
you mean like the way your trying to persecute the Muslim for not being Christians?
How if people could see how they are the evil they so call on others. It is almost always true.
There is no politics here, there is only indoctrination being done here. And by the right wing Christians.
And regarding facts and truth. That is your Truth, and it is absolutely not history. It is revised, made up by a man, that is out for power and control fiction that you are trying to pass off as fact.

The Pastor is right on the money. The Muslim agenda is clearly documented in their writings and can be seen around the world.
Their goal is not religious freedom like we currently have, but it is a radical agenda to overtake the world and crush all religens including Christianity – which is what is happening in Iraq right now – as Christians is being killed.
Even if you are not a Christian, you should support this cause to defend our religious freedom or you risk your own freddom to believe in whatever it is that you believe.
They are primarily doing it through the legal system. This is something that need more discussion.
But don’t take my word for it, here are a few good books.
1. American Jihad: The Terrorists Living Amoug Us
2. Infiltrated: How Muslim Spies and Subversives have Penetrated Washington
What is most troubling is that the radical agenda of the Muslim leadership is kept quite from the majority of Muslims, so when Muslims hear this kind of talk they get very defensive as would anyone without realizing that their leaders are involved.
They see American Christianity as a joke, because our nation supports every sin under the sun – so how could Jesus Christ have the answer?
And it’s true, we are a very sinful nation, which has drastically decreased our influence both in and out of our nation and our ability to convert people to Christanity.
But Jesus Christ is still the one and only name under heaven by which man can be saved. There is no other name and no other God.
The revelation of Jesus Christ is the solution to every problem that the world has ever and will ever face. Some day, Jesus will return to take His place as King of the world – as explained in the book of Revelations.
Matthew 6:33 – But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness
All other roads lead to destruction.
Matthew 7:14 – But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
This is why only a few find this truth, because the enemies of Jesus Christ hide it with propaganda and lies and killings and every thing they can. Yet He remains.

I think Dennis Campbell should convert to Islam myself.
His religion is obviously a sham.
