Klobuchar Still Holds Commanding Lead in Senate Race

Democratic Hennepin County Attorney Amy Klobuchar continues to show a wide lead over GOP Rep. Mark Kennedy (R-MN06), according to a new SurveyUSA poll.

According to the poll, Klobuchar leads Kennedy by 16%, 55% to 39%.  Independence party candidate Robert Fitzgerald trails with 3%, with Green Michael Cavlan and Constitution Party candidate Ben Powers receiving 1% each.  Only 1% of respondents indicated they were undecided.

The poll is another in a series showing a wide lead for Klobuchar.  Seven of the last ten polls have shown Klobuchar with a double-digit lead, and no poll since July has shown the race closer than 7%.

The poll surveyed 606 voters, and had a margin of error of 4%.
