Jeffers didn’t read the job description

Is Sue Jeffers running for Govenator or Mayor of Minneapolis? I honestly tuned in a minute or two into her speech and what I heard was a woman talking in a very republican manner about Minneapolis. While I stuffed, licked, and stamped envelopes I struggled to figure out who it could possibly be. Who is running that would talk so specifically about Minneapolis? The Mayoral seat isn’t open unless something horrible happened in the last hour…What could it possibly be. So after going to the MPR site and seeing what it was I still wasn’t sure. Is she really running to be the head of the state?

She’s gotten a bit better talking now about state wide education and the like. But really with such a strong Minneapolis focus she should just hold off and run for mayor in a couple years. Not that she’d have a shot but hey it’s always good to have that token nutjob. And in Minneapolis and St. Paul you are more of a token nut job if you run as a GOPer than if you run for the Socialist Workers Party.

If you want to listen to her talk about Minneapolis head over here for the audio.

Saying that the free market is the best way to bring down health care is a great idea. It’s worked so well up until now. Why is it that GOPers think that government is essentially stupid and a bad idea until it comes to what I do in my home, with my doctor, or with whoever I want to make whopee with?

If government is so amazingly bad at simply creating a health care system where people can all get basic preventative care so we don’t have to pay huge amounts for acute care then how on earth can they possibly have any clue what I should be doing with my body the rest of the time?

OH! Now she’s running for State Auditor. Does this woman have any clue what the job she’s applying for is?
