Minnesota House candidate Sheldon Anderson, R-Wyoming, tweeted this afternoon that the infamous billboard of George W. Bush on I-35, which reads “Miss me yet” has been vandalized. Now, according to Twitpic he provides, the word “No.” has been added, along with a dashing moustache. See it after the jump:

And I just went from hating the billboard to liking it.

I guess you could call the moustache vandalism, but the word NO was just an answer to the question. Its a sentiment shared by every sane American so I do think that calling it vandalism is a bit of s stretch.

Stay classy, libs. Don’t like the message? Vandalize it. I bet you learned that in PolySci 101.

Liberals vandalize billboards. Bush and his cronies vandalized the Constitution.

Good assumption that whoever the perpetrator was was in fact a liberal. Maybe just some bored kids?

Sweet!! That is Patriotism!! I am having a tear come to my eye as the theme song “Hail to the Chief” rings through my mind..

Hey Dennis, at least it’s less harmful than blatantly lying about things the Republicans don’t like, right?
Oh I’m sorry, I forgot you roaches don’t like the light.
Scurry away.

I’m sure it was done by the same “libs” who stole my “say NO to War With Iraq” sign off my lawn in 2003.
Comment posted July 27, 2010 @ 8:58 pm
That smug billboard was just begging begging begging for a response. I’m glad someone finally answered.
Comment posted July 27, 2010 @ 10:25 pm
gbear, no kidding. Based on the ridiculously goofy pic they used, I was never sure if the billboard was supposed to be serious, or if it was being ironic.

Many miss being employed.

We just drove by the sign today and in unison my husband and I yelled YES!!!! I have wanted to vandalize it many times myself but am way too short.

I wish Obama would hurry up and finish imploding the economy and get this Civil War started.

Let’s see….Minnesota is second in the country in child welfare, the onle state that did not vote for Reagan, had a wrestler and now a poor comedian to represent them and guess what, someone with the I.Q. of a grapefruit doesn’t like Bush…..How’s Obama working out for you????
Comment posted July 27, 2010 @ 11:44 pm
Hey Chanayov…..vandalized the Constitution.?????Well he didn’t Natonalize General Motors nor Chrysley, didn’t nationalize 1/7 of the national economy by siezing the health care industry, didn’t contemplate (and probably implement) the largest tax increase in American history, didn’t push for the end of “don’t ask, don’t tell” homosexual requirements in the miliyary, didn’t sue a soverign state for enacting a law he didn’t agree with, and you , in some inane fit, say that Bush violated the Constitution…..pathetic

The Wall Street banksters who got the trillions of taxpayer money, so they didn’t lose all their money, sure miss him.

An adolescent, in-your-face billboard to my view, matched with an equally unproductive adolescent level response by vandals. What’s been made better by the exchange?

Um, Terycarl, you do realize that being second in the nation in child welfare is good, don’t you?

Cheney had no pulse.
W had no brain.
They took our Constitution
and circled it down the drain.

Barack Hussein Obama has done the impossible. He’s made Bush look like an economic genius, and Carter look like a master of foreign policy.
Obama is the worst president in history. You moonbats need to face the facts.

PeeTardiers never let facts get in the way of a good lie.
The Great Bush Depression is living proof of his incompetence.

terycarl…
You realize that BUSH, yes BUSH was the first one to give taxpayer money to General Motors and Chrysler, right?

Like Obama or not, that billboard is rediculous. Simply look at the gas prices, notice its not over $3 a gallon like it was last Summer..Funny what happens when the oil companies don’t have their puppet running the government. Good bye bush, and no we dont miss you!

“Um, Terycarl, you do realize that being second in the nation in child welfare is good, don’t you?”
Thank you. Isn’t it funny when people disparage other people’s “IQ the size of a grapefruit” clearly doesn’t grasp the fact they are citing? Why must the right continue to render satire redundant?

RE: terycarl
Obama is working out for me a hell of a lot better than Bush did!

I don’t see why anyone would miss Bush. His policies are still being championed in the White House. Plus, President Obama seems more hip.

Liberals vandalize Bush billboards, right-wing moonbat Freepers (sorry, “conservatives”) shoot up Holocaust museums. There’s a slight difference.

Pride in being second in child welfare is like saying, “We suck at giving our kids what they need, but at least we’re coping well.” The real goal is to not need child welfare, sherlock.
Comment posted July 28, 2010 @ 1:58 pm
Re: W
“We suck at giving our kids what they need, but at least we’re coping well.”
Or it just means that Minnesota does more for children in need. In a perfect world child welfare wouldn’t be necessary, but it isn’t a perfect world so MN spends money to keep children safe.
Comment posted July 28, 2010 @ 2:09 pm
Judging from his comment, W has no heart – and is no sherlock, either in assuming “child welfare” refers to public assistance.
From KIDS COUNT FAQ at: http://www.aecf.org/MajorInitiatives/KIDSCOUNT/KIDS%20COUNT%20FAQ.aspx
There are currently ten KIDS COUNT measures: percent low birth-weight babies; infant mortality rate; child death rate; rate of teen deaths by accident, homicide, and suicide; teen birth rate; percent of children living with parents who do not have full-time, year-round employment; percent of teens who are high school dropouts; percent of teens not attending school and not working; percent of children in poverty; and percent of families with children headed by a single-parent.

Overall, Obama’s working out fine for me, terycarl.
How’s that “pissing and moaning because you lost a fair election” thingy working out for you?

Bush won because he ran against Kerry. If he ran unopposed he would have lost.
And if you think Bush’s war was justified:

The truth has a liberal bias. To the one claiming Obama caused unemployment, he has been in office less then 2 years. Look at the statistics. Oh that’s right, conservatives don’t like statistics? They have a liberal bias too.
Comment posted July 29, 2010 @ 7:58 am
If you want statistics, here’s one:
Average unemployment rate during the Bush years: 5.27%
That’s what people miss.
Comment posted July 29, 2010 @ 8:06 am
They should have wrote “Hell No”
Comment posted July 29, 2010 @ 8:58 am
Nope, do not miss this man, who I voted for twice and kick myself for making a second mistake? He gave us two wars, the present financial debacle started on his watch that has led to our present unemployment and add to this a big immigration mess across the country too?
Comment posted August 17, 2010 @ 1:12 am
It’s funny what geniuses those that voted for Bush think they are now. Just by virtue of their cheerful support for Bush’s unprecidented idiocy is clear evidence they are not credible critics of anything. Now they’re non-interventionist economic masterminds, foreign policy experts, and constitional scholars. The only people who’ll be persuaded by your blather are those that- like yourselves, pay no attention to unbiased analysis, and I suppose your impressionable offspring that you force to listen to your AM radio heros that disguise themselves as something other than people cashing in on the weakminded reactionaries that make up 80% of their audience. Sadly it seems fully 1/3 of this country are utterly beyond reach, just look at the ratings of FOX- most REFUSE to watch anything else, looking at two sides of an issue just isn’t comfortable. And thus they’ll never progress to a reasoned understanding of anything.

Hmmm, let’s see what administration really put this into motion..Hint, double termer, smooth Southern accent, played the sax and enjoyed a good cigar with his most trusted of interns…That’s right, Slick Willy! Take a basic econ class! The economy doesn’t just take a dump all of the sudden when the Office of the President changes…Bush inherrited Slick Willie’s fiscal policies of which, in the short term, had made the economy skyrocket so he ran with it.Bush’s mistake as an unregulated market always catches up to itself and did so in W’s second term. In essence Nobama inherited the bastard economy from his own party affiliate! I can’t wait to see what Hillary leaves for us! It looks as if a good majority here should invest some time into a continuing education course, bitchez! 8P

The liberal Democrats were in charge of congress the last two years of Bush’s term. Its not two years of Obama its four years of liberals that have destroyed the economy.
Comment posted August 20, 2010 @ 12:17 am
Amazing a lot of the stupid posts on both sides and the fool who thinks Bush was controlling gas prices – supply demand slow economy – that is all the unemployed who aren’t driving aren’t using gas.
Either way, aren’t you glad you elected BO and Franken-real classy MN real classy.
Just remember, a president has to accept the mess he has and try and solve it instead of blaming the problems on the last eight years – guess the last eight years now include two years of the current administration. Step up to the plate and accept the responsibility of being president and act like a leader – kinda like Reagan did.

Any state that would vote in Franken is actually quite frightening. Not speaking of those that were smart enough not to and have to live with the embarrassment.
May I suggest to many of you, look up George W’s grades from the Ivy League Uni’s he attended, he actually did quite well. I am sure all you haters do not come anywhere near his IQ and would have never qualified to attend either of the UNI’s.
It is always good to get facts straight.
Smarten up.
