Following Kelliher concession, GOP pounces on Dayton

Just hours after Margaret Anderson Kelliher conceded the DFL primary race to Mark Dayton, the Republican Party of Minnesota released a new ad targeting the former U.S. Senator. The ad, title “Erratic,” takes on some of the well known gaffes from Dayton’s career, including — predictably — closing his Senate offices due to terrorism concerns and grading his own performance as senator at an “F.”

Here’s the ad:

Too risky for Minnesota?

I’d rather Dayton than “Let’s Kill the Gays and Support Racism” Emmer.

” . . . closed his office, fearing a non-existant terrorist threat . . . ”

I think this ad is false. Because the terrorist threat did not result in terrorist action, that makes it a “non-existant” threat?

Who wrote this stupid ad?? Some morons??

I see…so receiving treatment for depression makes one defective? I’m sure the 1 in 4 Americans living with depression would be glad to know what the GOP really thinks of them.

Thanks Target and Best Buy, that $250K you donated to MN-Forward (Emmer) has really enhanced the public debate. Glad you didn’t waste it on a homeless shelter or something worthless.

Tom Ridge admitted in his book that the Bush admin put out false terror alerts for political purposes. The Repubs might not like the response to this ad.

I don’t expect any more from this slime than cheap slanders and phony accusations.

Even when he was making up stuff at MDE he was taking money from Bachmann.

Michael Brodkorb responds to yesterday’s charges against him with a heavy dose of personal martyrdom, leavened with a dollop of self-righteousness:

The majority of the attacks focused on a one-time payment I received from Michele Bachmann’s campaign. This payment was properly and legally disclosed on Bachmann’s FEC report over three weeks ago. I will remind my friends in the liberal blogosphere that I am under no legal obligation to disclose a professional business relationship with a campaign on my personal blog.
