The Alliance for a Better Minnesota Action Fund launched a new television ad today targeting Rep. Tom Emmer for missed votes in the Minnesota House this year. The group also started a website called missedvotes.com, which documents each of the missed votes. The group has already bought a series of ads against Emmer, and media fact-checkers have given past videos mixed reviews.

“Mixed reviews?” The non-partisan (actually liberal) FactCheck.org basically calls the ads “misleading” and “false.”

I can understand Dayton’s family desperate to find something productive for their brother to do, but they should at least try to tell the truth about his opponent.
