New Hampshire Dems feature Bachmann in anti-GOP site

Using a graphic weirdly similar to Leonardo da Vinci’s “Last Supper” — with Rep. Michele Bachmann at the seat of honor — New Hampshire Democrats are attacking GOP U.S. Senate candidate Kelly Ayotte by linking her to conservative and tea party–affiliated Republicans, including Bachmann, Colorado’s Ken Buck, Nevada’s Sharron Angle and others.

The site is inspired by Ayotte’s answer to a question about where she found disagreement with the national GOP.  Ayotte answered, “Nothing comes to mind that’s on the table now.” The “new faces of the GOP” — or, in language on another part of the site, Ayotte’s “right-wing dinner guests” — also include Rand Paul and Sarah Palin.

What Bachmann “brings to the table,” according to New Hampshire Dems?

On Climate Change:
  • “Human activity is not the cause of all this global warming…in fact, nature is the cause, with solar flares, etc.” [1]
On Equality:
  • Bachmann called the recent court ruling that struck down Prop 8 “infuriating” and the work of “progressive activist judges who issue their personal moral pronouncements under the guise of constitutional law.” [2]
On Economics:
  • Bachmann claimed that a minimum wage law is “superfluous.” [3]
On The Gulf Oil Spill:
  • Bachmann called the fund to help victims of the oil spill a “redistribution-of-wealth fund.” She went on to say “and now it appears like we’ll be looking at one more gateway for more government control, more money to government.” [4]

The Democrats’ website doesn’t mention its candidate for the Senate seat vacated by retiring Sen. Judd Gregg. U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes will face off with the winner of the Sept. 14 GOP primary between Ayotte, Bill Binnie, Ovide Lamontagne and Jim Bender.

The Dems are about to get a drubbing in November.

Everything they are forcing on us we do not want.

The republicans have nothing to offer except more anger, more fear, more doubt, more division, and more problems.

Their economic policies have already failed miserably and they want to displace the Constitution with the Bible as the highest law of the land.

That looks more like an advertisement for Bachmann to me. I’ll be voting Bachmann this coming election.

Well if we have to have a Republican, Bachmann is the one to have. Totally ineffective, misses votes and spends more time being a talking head than a state representative.
Personally though I wish someone more centrist and intelligent was representing me.

“Everything they are forcing on us we do not want.”

Just what might “everything we don’t want” be?

Access to adequate health care? some guaranty against total poverty in your old age? Or maybe you’d prefer Bachmann’s brand of religious tyranny? The Gospel according to James Dobson and Tony Perkins?
