Horner’s bathroom humor to debut at State Fair

Independence Party gubernatorial candidate Tom Horner’s campaign will have bathroom ads at the Minnesota State Fair, according to a press release issued Wednesday afternoon. Trying to strike a “positive,” light-hearted” tone, the site-specific ads attempt some light potty humor. One, presumably to be mounted above a mensroom urinal: “Too far right. Too far left. Not good in here. Not good in the governor’s office.”

The other is probably intended to be straight, but given the tenor of the first one, its use of the term “pushing” could have a different connotation if placed near the Fair bathroom’s sit-down facilities:

I kinda wish there was one that says:

“Tom Horner: I aim to please. You aim too, please.”
