SPLC report focuses on Bradlee Dean, Tom Emmer and Michele Bachmann

In the fall edition of its Intelligence Report, the Southern Poverty Law Center profiles Bradlee Dean of You Can Run But You Cannot Hide International ministries and his connection to Minnesota Republicans Tom Emmer and Rep. Michele Bachmann. The Intelligence Report is a quarterly publication that “provides comprehensive updates to law enforcement agencies, the media and the general public” and bills itself as the “nation’s preeminent periodical monitoring the radical right in the U.S.”
In an article titled, “Pols, Nativists Make Common Cause With Gay-Bashers,” the group looks at three examples of conservative candidates and connections to anti-gay groups.
[Rosanna] Pulido’s coziness with the gay-bashing [Illinois Family Institute] was no more notable than that of some Minnesota elected officials’ with You Can Run But You Cannot Hide Intl. Inc., a music ministry that brings punk rock evangelism into public schools in the Midwest. On a May 15 radio show, the ministry’s front man, Bradlee Dean, applauded the call of some Muslims for violence against gay people. “Muslims are calling for the executions of homosexuals in America,” Dean said. “This just shows you … they seem to be more moral than even the American Christians… . They know homosexuality is an abomination.”
After Minnesota Independent writer Andy Birkey reported his comments, Dean backpedaled, saying he does not favor the execution of homosexuals. Despite those remarks, Republican State Rep. Tom Emmer defended the ministry as a “pro-traditional marriage group” composed of “nice people.” And last November, Minnesota congresswoman and Tea Party darling Michele Bachmann was the keynote speaker at a fundraiser for the ministry.
The story references a May 25 Minnesota Independent report which includes audio of Dean telling his radio audiences, “Muslims are calling for the executions of homosexuals in America… They seem to be more moral than even the American Christians do, because these people are livid about enforcing their laws. They know homosexuality is an abomination.”

Considering that NOT ONE of the SPLC’s top ten, highest paid executives is a minority, it’s pretty hard to give them much credibility regarding anything.

Guilt by association. How lame.
The American Communist Party endorsed Obama. What does that tell us?

Dennis, grow up. The “look what HE did” defense didn’t work in grade school as a defense, and it doesn’t work now. Your sort will do anything to distract from the failings of your crowd, largely because you seem to attract wastes of skin like Dean.
Posts like yours carry no weight unless you can step up tot he plate and admit the failings on your own end, without using the same breath to denounce someone else. Or does “responsibility” not apply to your brethern?

Bradlee Dean is a very scary bigot and for a politician to support a man like this is just wrong. Anyone who thinks killing innocent people is a good thing is evil.
Just how exactly does a Christian band have the right to go into public schools? I hear so much fear mongering that gays want their agenda taught in public schools – which is not true. Yet, a band with a leader like this goes into our schools. I would take my child out of school and complain very loudly.

Obama and Hillary Clinton ties, involvement, and participation in foreign power broker Bilderberg Group are well documented. It is illegal for our elected officials to attend these gatherings. It is a violation of the Logan Act. Obama’s cabinet is pro-bank, pro-wall street. I would willing support any President that would stand up for what this country was meant to be. But, what my question is with current and all the past administrations since Kennedy(later years), Is this, What ever happened to For the people, By the people, and of the people.
