Horner’s second TV ad paints Dayton and Emmer as extremes

Independence Party gubernatorial candidate Tom Horner released his second ad of the campaign cycle over the weekend. Titled “Picture,” the ad paints his opponents — DFLer Mark Dayton and Republican Tom Emmer  — as too far too the left and too far to the right.

“Our new ad highlights the fact that it will take an independent-thinking governor to break through the legislative gridlock,” campaign manager Stephen Imholte said in a statement on Friday. “Tom Horner is the only one who can accomplish that.”
