Zogby Poll: Hatch, Klobuchar Lead

Democrats Amy Klobuchar and Mike Hatch hold leads in their respective races, according to a new Wall Street Journal/Zogby Interactive poll.

Hatch is leading incumbent Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty 46.1% to 44.7%, while Klobuchar leads Republican Rep. Mark Kennedy 50.5% to 42.8%

Both polls have a margin of error of 3.6%.Klobuchar’s lead of 7.7% is almost identical to a Zogby poll from October 19, that showed her leading Kennedy by 7.5%.  Klobuchar has consistently led Kennedy in the poll since polling began in August of 2005.

Hatch has gained slightly from the October 19th poll, which had the Governor’s race in a dead heat at 45% each.  This is another in a series of polls showing Hatch with a very slim lead.

The poll was conducted from October 23 to October 27, using interactive online polling.
