When the meatballs get stale, try hockey pucks:

It was awhile back and I and friends were sitting in a local cafe. Along came an enthuiastic Republican, fresh from his local caucus. One of my friends knew him slightly.

We listened to his excited speech as he told us he had just become a delegate to the regional convention.

He dropped a brohure on our table and as he turned to leave and I commented, "That's quite a caricature of McCain on your campaign button."

"No', he replied, "It's the real thing!"

I would say he took a good ten paces toward the door before he stopped dead in his tracts; like a slow dawning. Then he scurried out of the cafe in a belated huff.

It takes awhile for some Republicans to realize the caricatures they've put up as legitimate candidates? Some never do.

When meatballs go stale, why not sell hockey pucks with a picture of the duo McCain/Palin transposed. caricature or otherwise. Doesn't really make much differance...
