Michele Bachmann’s big adventure: Rollin’ on the river in the rain

Michele Bachmann joined guests on her convention-week congressional reception cruise (previous MnIndy story) on the St. Croix River Tuesday afternoon. About two dozen members of Congress and staff, along with Bachmann’s husband Marcus, boarded the Afton Princess for a ride with the 6th District Minnesota congresswoman. Curiously, a Department of Natural Resources (DNR) conservation warden arrived at the city dock in Afton when boarding started and kept watch until the boat departed. The warden followed the boat from the dock as it left and then departed down river.
