Rep. Michele Bachmann is starring in a new film by Citizens United, the group that sued to allow unfettered independent expenditures by corporations in politics. The new film, “Fire from the Heartland: the Awakening of the Conservative Woman,” spotlights Bachmann and two other Republican members of Congress, Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming and Jean Schmidt of Ohio.
According to the documentary producers the women “share their emotional stories of hardship and triumph in their fight for freedom. These women leaders are fanning the flames of liberty across the nation.”
David Weigal at Slate says the film will come out next Wednesday and is part of a series of conservative “documentaries.”

Has anyone told our little Michelle that her job is legislating and working for her constituents not promoting herself and wingnut causes.

Michele’s constituents will tell her with their votes whether they believe she’s working on their behalf.
On the video. Wow. Very powerful stuff.

Where were the strong voices and angry conservatives when the last administration bullied congress into engaging a non-threatening country (IRAQ) that put us much further in debt than any healthcare program no matter how bad it could be… Lets hear the denouncement of the war and the wealth handoff to a handful of super wealthy. That is MN Concervative.

I think it’s the welfare system that had placed the USA into debt. U just can’t keep that up for long it’s not sustainable economically. U just can’t have what u can’t pay for.

Love these women!! I cannot wait to see the documentary. As a feminist I love the strength and tenacity of these women who will not sit down and shut up. This country is being hijacked. What we do now as citizens matters. Its time to secure freedom and individualism and opportunity to chart our own destiny. November 2nd were sending a message to Obama and his minions that they will hear wether they want to or not.

Bachmann isn’t the “star” of this movie. She’s hardly mentioned.
Sarah Palin was the inspiration for the movie
