Photographer Terry Gydesen has captured some remarkable images of last night’s police crackdown following the march by the Poor People’s Economic Human Rights Campaign. Most surreal for me in experiencing the police response last night was the sight of the St. Paul landmark Mickey’s Dining Car fortified by black-clad riot police. While my nerve-wracked camera work left blurry footage, Gydesen grabbed this shot. See more at her blog and at MinnPost.
