This is a most sobering message in the light of all the hoopla and bands playing... and what is being stolen from us daily through false charges and serious violations of civil liberties at this convention ; a convention sponsored by the same that has "sponsored" our presnt administration and its active participation in "extraordinary rendition" and those acts of torture so 'embraced'....torture that can not even be clearly defined by this same administration and its followers... but then, when is any torture acceptable?

An article by Sangitha Mckensie Millar on Asia Times on-line this morning is a powerful, 17-page story detailing the unacceptable acts carried out by this administration; documenting those ongoing horrors approved so wholeheartedly ( wholeheartlessly) by this administration and all hawkish neocons who wave the flag over such injustice.
