Besides, there is plenty of the "rock-throwing, flag-burning, storm-trooping, jack-booted, tear-gassing, billy-clubbing, ass-kicking, building-burning, shit-kicking protest" going on, it's just being done by the police and hired guns at protests like the affair at the recent RNC. Okay, maybe not the rock throwing or flag burning, but there was certainly the rest, all orchestrated by the government and implemented by storm troopers in riot gear. Let the people see the image of a dead person who was killed in the war zone. Expose the public and remind them that this is going on and happening in real life and affecting millions of ordinary people worldwide. Let them see the reality and not Paris, Britany or the Runaway Bride. Until the public is informed and then they, in turn, pay attention, you'll keep getting what you're paying for, that is, a bunch of pablum designed mask the truth.
