Klobuchar among most popular senators

Sen. Amy Klobuchar is the most popular U.S. senator, according to surveys by Public Policy Polling. The pollster looked at the approval ratings of 59 senators over the past several months and found Klobuchar with a net favorable rating of 30 percent, well above the second most favorable, Sen. Scott Brown of Massachusetts, who scored 24 percent.
Klobuchar, who is up for re-election in 2012, had an approval rating of 59 percent compared to 29 percent of Minnesota voters who said they disapproved of her. Sen. Al Franken, a year and a half after being seated following a contentious recount with his predecessor Norm Coleman, garnered just a 3 percent favorable rating with 45 percent approving of his performance as senator and 42 percent disapproving.
Nationwide, Democrats and New England moderate Republicans senators shared the top ten spots. Following Klobuchar (+30) and Brown (+24), were Sens. Republican Judd Gregg of New Hampshire (+23), Republican Olympia Snowe of Maine (+22), Democrat Barbara Mikulski of Maryland (+22), Democrat Mark Warner of Virginia (+22), Democrat Chuck Schumer of New York (+22), Republican Susan Collins of Maine (+17), Democrat Jeff Bingaman of New Mexico (+16) and Republican John Cornyn of Texas (+15).

Senator Amy Klobuchar is on the record as wanting WikiLeaks to take it’s information off it’s site and that Bradley Manning should go to prison for life. In an interview with WCCO radio 11/29/10.
Wikileaks is exposing the US government and the military of their extensive list of crimes. Similar to the Pentagon Papers.
Was that sort of information included in the puff piece poll?
Will the Minnesota “Independent” do some investigative journalism on Senator Klobuchar’s position on this? Never mind her support of the continuation of the Bush Tax cuts. Unlike Senator Bernie Sanders, who showed up the US Senate, all 99 of them for what they really are.
Following the Thomas Jefferson ideals of informing the people. Of being a watchdog for those in power. Or are they too busy being lapdogs of those in power? The other end of Faux Snooze, oops I mean Fox News.
Follow the Golden Microphone Rules folks.
Speak for those who have the gold, you get a golden microphone. Speak in opposition, real dissenting opposition to those who have the gold, you do not gain access to the golden microphone.
Time to build a brass microphone.. Which will get far more credibility and journalistic ethics and integrity then the golden microphone.

Is Laura Brod running for the Republican nod to take on Sen. Klobuchar?

Remember, folks, the difference between it’s (contraction of “it is”) and its (possessive). This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine.

Klobuchar’s popularity means there’s proof Democrats have a lower level of literacy. These are cave people. All delicacy is lost. Some of Obama’s advisors are apparently on the level of LBJ’s nam war team, and are planning to invade Iran. Klobuchar may as well be drawing up invade Iran signs with Michelle Bachmann.

Amy is popular in part because whenever you see her in the news she has something important to say. It’s usually related to something she’s working on, has actually done for the people of MN or something with nationwide implications. That’s about it. You don’t see her flapping her mouth like the Wicked Witch of the 6th District or her big sister the Wicked Witch of the Frozen North. They flap for the sake of flapping with a big fat zero in their basket of accomplishments.

Nonsense. Amy is popular because of that hilarious Groucho Marx mask she always wears. It makes people laugh.

Amy is very well spoken and quite corrigible.. HOWEVER….. She has done the same thing that Bush, Obama and Bachmann have done.. They run as moderates and after they get elected they scurry to the Right.. If she held ANY value of Liberalism she would embrace it and legislate that way.. We live in a Center Left Country and Amerika want’s to see our legislators and leaders operate that way….
