Dean at Bachmann’s alma mater questions her qualifications for president

Rep. Michele Bachmann earned her law degree from televangelist Pat Robertson’s Regent University, but that doesn’t necessarily mean her alma mater backs her possible presidential bid. The dean of the university’s Pat Robertson School of Government thinks her response to President Obama’s State of the Union address was unwise and stated that she’s too inexperienced to make it to the Oval Office just yet.

Dr. Charles W. Dunn, dean of Regent University’s Robertson School of Government, spoke with the American Family Association’s OneNewsNow, and said he thinks that Bachmann is “articulate, attractive, and bright” but her tea party response to Obama was “unwise.”

“As I look at Congresswoman Bachmann in this light: those members who are outsiders often become flamethrowers, and they lose their ability to influence much of what happens in the Congress,” Dunn said.

“The tea party and the Republican Party, if they divide, they will harm one another,” said Dunn, who has served as staffer for Republican members of Congress. “The Republican Party needs the tea party in order to mount a serious campaign against President Obama. The tea party needs the Republican Party in order to achieve its goals.”

Bachmann has hinted at a possible run for the Republican nomination for president in 2012.

OneNewsNow notes that Dunn thinks Bachmann “is too inexperienced to be seriously considered for the Oval Office that soon.”

Well, he got everything right except for the “articulate, attractive, and bright” stuff. For the life of me, I do not understand why people keep saying Bachmann is so attractive. A lot of straight men must have pretty low standards or something.

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) recently announced her opposition to the federal Transportation Security Administration’s full-body scanners due to worries that “naked pictures” of herself could somehow end up on the internet for the world to see after being screened.

In other news, Bachmann is representing her constituency while she’s politicking in Hawaii.

Now that the “shellacking” has turned Obama into a republican wannabe, quoting scripture at prayer breakfasts (incorrectly) and playing buddy-buddy with bidness leaders, I’m surprised the democrats want him to run again as the representative of their party. I mean, he’s now to the right of most senate republicans yet the liberals are singing his praises.

There won’t be much disagreement in the presidential debates if he keeps up this charade.

Umm…. Michelle ‘graduated’ from Oral Roberts School of Law. She did a year at Regent, but her degree came from ORU.

Come on, guys. Do some research.
