I was a clear violation of the people's first amendment rights. I also cannot help but wonder why the use of deadly force was authorized as a last resort to protect them from non-violent protestors to ‘protect themselves’ was authorized? I also wonder why nobody has asked the question, “Why were Blackwater Contractors used? It is a grave situation that highlights how tenuous our personal rights really are, even in this country.
