Bachmann, Pawlenty to hit early primary states

Rep. Michele Bachmann has the early primary states of New Hampshire and South Carolina on her itinerary, while former Gov. Tim Pawlenty is headed to early-caucus state Nevada following trips to Virginia, Florida and Arkansas — the latter fueling speculation that Pawlenty may make a play for supporters of Mike Huckabee if he decides not to run for president in 2012.

The details of Bachmann’s trip to New Hampshire have been solidified. She’ll be in Manchester on March 11 and 12 to meet with GOP officials with a “main event” scheduled for Saturday to raise funds for the state party.

Bachmann also added another event to her trip to South Carolina this weekend, a low-budget fundraiser for the York County Republican Party.

Pawlenty was in Arkansas on Wednesday to meet with Republican officials. “Could Pawlenty be positioning himself to pick up Huckabee supporters looking for a candidate if Huckabee decides not to run?” asked Jason Tolbert, a conservative blogger who attended the meeting. “It sure looks that way to me.”

Over the weekend, Pawlenty sat down to dinner with Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, fueling some speculation about McDonnell possibly looking for a vice president spot on a GOP ticket in 2012.

Pawlenty will be heading to Nevada next week to meet with GOP leaders.

So much for constituent services in the 6th CD. People in the 6th CD who have voted Bachmann 3 times are FOOLS! They must be braind dead.

The Neo-Cons here in the 1st CD call Rep. Tim Walz a “media whore” when he draws attention to important issues, writes an Op-Ed in the District papers, or has been on TV more than once in a week’s time. But they love Bachmann!!!

Just something you are going to have to learn to deal with. Only 20% of Americans identify with liberal ideology. I expect to see a good number of senators that supported ObamaCare bite the dust in 2012. Several have already bailed. Hopefully with the senate and house in a GOP majority and a likely ousting of dear leader we will be able to bring America back from the brink.

Lady…you are spot on. Why isn’t Tarryl Clark’s team making crazy pants Bachmann’s lack of attention to the 6th more public, if I were thinking about running I would’t let up just because the campaign season is over.

Nominating Pawlenty is a great way to re-elect the president. Pawlenty left Minnesota with a 6.2 billion dollar deficit. That’s no way to begin a presidential campaign. And Minnesota voters rejected his hand-picked successor and elected a liberal Democrat last November. And it was a great Republican year! Republican gubernatorial candidates won big victories in nearby, similar states like Wisconsin and Michigan.

Pawlenty is a nice guy but he left Minnesota with a 6.2 Billion dollar debt. That’s billion with a B. That’s no way to begin a presidential campaign.
