On ABC’s Good Morning America, Rep. Michele Bachmann refused to take a stand on whether President Barack Obama was a Christian or not, but did concede that Obama should be taken “at his word” that he’s a U.S. citizen. She also doubled down on her opposition to flex-spending tax credits for breast pumps and weighed in on pop artist Lady Gaga.

GMA host George Stephanopoulos asked Bachmann, “Can you just state very clearly that President Obama is a Christian and he is a citizen of the United States?”

Bachmann responded, “Well, that isn’t for me to state, that is for the president to state. And I think that the president makes…”

Stephanopoulos pressed her, “Do you believe it?”

Bachmann said, “When the president makes his statements, I think they need to stand for their own.”

He asked again, “But he has said it very clearly. I’m just asking if you believe it.”

She responded, “Well, I think we should take the president at his word.”

Stephanopoulos pressed her further, “But you can’t say — you can’t sit there and declare that he is a citizen and he is a Christian?”

And Bachmann changed the subject: “You know what I focus on today, today is the two-year anniversary of the stimulus program where we spent a trillion dollars to make sure that unemployment wouldn’t go above eight percent. That’s what I’m worried about because the people in the 6th District of Minnesota are very concerned about job creation.”

He also asked her if she was a fan of Lady Gaga. “You know, I don’t really know that much about Lady Gaga,” Bachmann said. “I hate to say it, I have a lot of children, but I don’t know that much about Lady Gaga.”

“[T]he people in the 6th District of Minnesota are very concerned about job creation.”

Which is why she is having one of her “spells” about breast pumps. It’s about creating jobs for wet-nurses.

i don’t care about lady gaga either but i sure wish bachman would put ,even just a Little effort in the sixth district the only reason she gets elected in this district is because we are a strong advocated district against abortion ,and so is she
other than that she does nothing for this district

we have had great economic chances for industry, tourism and small business
with a little push from her they would be here
and we wouldn’t be seeing 10 to 12 pages of foreclosures every week in the local newspapers

it took many years for us to create the financial situation we are in ,and it will take many more years to get out of it so if you think obama is the fault ,
you had better understand economics

in my opion we are in better shape then we were two years ago when obma took office ,,,, not much but better

so bachman put a little effort in your district and get off the kick of i could be president because you haven’t got a chance , good looks and no brains ,doesn’t work any more and please every news cast is trying to get you to say just one nice thing about oboma and you can,t ,,, i didn’t vote for him last round but i am definitely voting for him this round

just because of all the divisive controversy you have created for your own ego

a whole lot more people agree with me also , remember getting along is easier

Job Creation and Tax cuts unless its about tax cuts and help that is introduced by the Left side, and a Job created by the Left side, then its all evil!

If any normal Joe spent this much time away from his normal job and only spent their time trying to get a new job, they would be fired.

Please, any one, tell me one positive bill that Bachman has created that would help create jobs or help people hold on to their homes. All I ever hear from her is negativity on how every one else is destroying America.

What I mean by “positive” is a bill that stands on its and isn’t passed to get rid of a different bill or law. You know, something original.

one job she was voted in what did anyone do to rally against her
so she didn’t get reelected
maybe next round we will all get out and campaign against her
i know i got off my back side and did get involved
i didnt see to many others only the same few dedicated folks were out and about
she is destoying america
she showed her negative support towards the veterans
that should go along way with the veterans groups
keep a tally of her accomplishments that should be real easy to do

she is a divide and conquer type person with allot of outside money pouring to help her
chad get a permit for a county court house in the sixth to have a rally against bachman it will make national news call it the sixth district is tired of bachman advertise it get local press call major press date and time start with the Minnesota independent
it easy i have put together rally’s that had up to a couple of thousand people at some so do it just don’t complain i don’t see any letters to the editor in any of the papers except mine so what are you all waiting for,, someone else to do it
