Rep. Michele Bachmann will continue her national “all in for 2012” tour this spring when she heads to Des Moines for the Conservative Principles Conference in late-March and then New Orleans for the 2011 Republican Leadership Conference and Reagan Centennial Celebration in early June.

As the Iowa Independent reports, Bachmann will be speaking at the Conservative Principles Conference along with conservative groups spanning the spectrum from the pro-gun National Rifle Association to the anti-gay marriage National Organization for Marriage to the anti-immigration Numbers USA. The conference is organized by Bachmann’s friend, Rep. Steve King, and will be held on March 26.

The Sixth Congressional District representative will also head to New Orleans June 16–18 to speak at the annual Republican Leadership Conference and Reagan Centennial Celebration. Bachmann is the first speaker to confirm for the conference, according to its blog. The event was previously known as the Southern Republican Leadership Conference and last year hosted many prominent Republicans, including Sarah Palin, Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich.

Over the weekend, Bachmann traveled to South Carolina, earlier this month she went to Hawaii and Montana, and in January, she went to Iowa. In March, she has scheduled trips to Iowa and New Hampshire.

Hmmm. Does she spend ANY time representing her constituents?

So when is she going to get around to saving homes and jobs?

Please, any one, let me know one bill she has written that helps retain or create jobs.

Even when she’s in DC she doesn’t represent them.

I wonder how many votes she will be absent for this session? Last session it was like 161? Nice to see she’s representing us.

Well, for those of you who are upset with Ms. Bachmann’s schedule, I guess you should have held your nose and voted for that loser Terral whats-her-name last November then. Elections have consequenses.

It’s becoming more and more clear that Michele Bachmann is running for POTUS!

Her extremist views will appeal to a very small minority of the Electorate. The National opinions of her are not kind. Even my Conservative sister in California thinks she is off her rocker and crazy! If she were to become the nominee for the GOP, my sister said she would vote for Obama.

@Dennis

I never voted for Bachmann. I am ashamed to live in the same state as someone as extreme and self serving, and speical interest as she is. I am disgusted that my state dollars pay for her way, when she put no time or her money into the state she is suppose to work for.

People, people, people!

Building a right wing, fundamentalist, party of fear mongers takes work and travel. There are public school systems to destroy. Historical and scientific facts must be covered up. In fact, the entire Enlightenment must be disassembled and Biblical myths inserted to replace the evil of scientific empiricism. Give her a break, Rome wasn’t built in a Deus.

Carl – You are such a spoilsport. Try this. If there was a DENNIS sound alike contest would he be more like Col. Bat Guano (Keenan Wynn) or Gen. Buck Turgidson (George C. Scott)? Personally I favor the Colonel.

I think that the Make-Up and the Spackling Knife Industry is funding Mrs. Bachmann’s political campaign .. If it wasn’t for the FAKES (fox) News Cartel and Michele Bachmann’s own obsession with VANITY and self Image HER CAREER WOULD BE OVER!!! She DEFINITELY needs FOX’s Lies in order to keep her political career relevant..

I hope Michele isn’t getting cheated on her frequent liar miles.

Wouldn’t it be ironic if someone reported that the cost of her junkets came to $250 MILLION / day, just like she blurted out (incorrectly) when Obama went on a trip last year? Maybe then the TAXPAYERS of Minnesota’s under-represented 6th district might wake up and notice.
