Pawlenty’s new Hollywood trailer: Standing with Scott
Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 11:20 am
Presumed 2012 presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty released a new highly produced video called “Stand With Scott” on Thursday. The video throws support behind Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and attacks the motives of protesters voicing opposition to the Republican’s plan to curtail bargaining rights for the state’s public employees.
Suspenseful music is laid over clips of opinions by Fox newscasters like Megyn Kelly, before the spot ends with Pawlenty calling for Americans to support Walker. The video then links to a new website created by Pawlenty’s Freedom First PAC called Standing With Scott.
The video follows another highly produced video by Pawlenty’s PAC which generated attention less for its content than for its Hollywood style and prompted a series of parodies, including “Minnesota Tim and the West Wing of Doom,” “BravePaw” and the “TPawminator.”

Has anyone else noticed that TP and Walker just look dumb? I mean seriously, both of ‘em just have that stupid look about them.

Full of sound and fury and signifying nothing.

Standing with Scott? More like lying down with the Koch brothers.
Praise Jebus, God hates transparency, Amen.

Well, this is just more proof union-busting is a nationwide goal of the Republicans.
…and that Timmy is truly a multipurpose tool.

If you click on the “Standing with Scott” posted above, you can contact Tim directly and send him a nice, pleasant message of support (or not). Since I’ve been half-halfheartedly looking for a way to contact Tim for awhile now, I jumped at the opportunity and gave him a few of my thoughts. For some reason, I don’t think he’ll respond. Just a hunch. You might want to consider doing the same if you’re so inclined.
My message started out: “One loser supporting another loser…………”
Thanks for that link!!

Tim Pawlenty said, “The Situation in Wisconsin totally reminds me of the movie Armageddon.” http://wp.me/p11VLN-4P

Wow, that’s the second extremely well-done video piece the governor has out there now. I’d like to know who the producer is so I can hire them for something I’m doing, so if anyone knows, publish the info, ok?
You liberals can scoff but these videos will have an impact on independent voters.

He would never have been elected here if he would have been honest about his true beliefs. What a loser!

I see the same throbbing, substanceless appeal to emotion in born-again Christian churches. The unwary are susceptible to such manipulative tactics. It’s a primal thing.

Dennis,
I doubt anyone would want to help you produce your child porn.

Walker is a bastard, so it’s no surprise to see Timmy backing him.
