Republican nominee John McCain took many people by surprise when he presented first-term Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate on Aug. 29. Media organizations, political junkies and even the campaign of Democratic nominee Barack Obama were sent scrambling to find information on the 44-year-old governor. While reporters were booking flights for Anchorage and lawyers were tearing through her records, some individuals decided to just make it up.
Within hours of McCain’s announcement hundreds of people started posting “little known facts” about Palin to the social-networking sight Twitter. Since that time more than 2,000 “little known facts” have been posted about Palin.
andrew_graham: Little known fact: Sarah Palin chews all the caps off her Bic pens. She keeps them in a garbage bag and it’s almost full.
mpesce: Little known fact: Sarah Palin once threw a javelin across the Bering Strait.
craigwisch: Little known fact: Sarah Palin invented both plaid and camouflage.
kev097: Little known fact: McCain’s been running for president longer than Palin’s been governing. Not a joke: http://is.gd/23Na

Little known fact: I heard in 2000 that John McCain fathered a child out of wedlock with a black woman …and that he collaborated with the VC !!! How come we're not hearing any of that stuff this time around ? And who started those rumors anyway ???

Forget the little facts, here's a big one Ms. media!
With all the Fake “liberal media” bias touted by everyone, it is no wonder McCain is ahead. All of our media is bending over backwards to accommodate the corporate republicans. Media everywhere has been running scared ever since the Rethug convention and their macho talk scared their corporate media friends into changing things like the future MSNBC lineups, thus allowing the Fox type propaganda people to remain.. The Democratic convention lasted 4 days and stopped at midnight August 28th! The rethug convention started the next morning and continues with coverage of their convention, with footage airing non-stop to this day – 11 days now and running! When does their convention coverage stop? The Republicons have a had very successful propaganda thing going with this fake “liberal media” thing. Go ahead American media – give the presidency to another liar!

As a conservative evangelical, Sarah Palin has led a prayer movement in Alaska. No wonder God has given her such an appealing reception among evangelicals, and such terrible opposition by those who don’t care a whit about truth and honesty. A little known fact is that she may well become president one day! Write me if you have questions about this: watchmenoftheking@msn.com
