Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain to attend Ralph Reed conference

Rep. Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain have confirmed – Cain only yesterday — that they will be attending Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom conference in June. The conservative conference is held every year in Washington, D.C.

Cain is a Republican presidential hopeful from Georgia who has been in the news for saying that we would not allow Muslims to serve in his administration and accusing Muslim Rep. Keith Ellison of supporting Sharia law.  He has also claimed that Planned Parenthood was created to “kill black babies.”

Also invited to attend the Faith and Freedom conference: Newt Gingrich, Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, Marco Rubio, Donald Trump, Karl Rove and Mitt Romney.

Former Gov. Tim Pawlenty isn’t on the list, but he was in attendance at another Ralph Reed event, the Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition’s Spring Event on March 7, also attended by Cain and other GOP hopefuls.
