Michele Bachmann to join Bradlee Dean at Freedom Jamboree

Rep. Michele Bachmann is the first potential presidential candidate to confirm that she will speak at Freedom Jamboree, a tea party “nominating convention for the offices of President and Vice President” to be held in Kansas City in September. The convention has already drawn a motley crew of personalities, including Minnesota’s own Bradlee Dean of You Can Run But You Cannot Hide International ministries.

Freedom Jamboree announced on Monday that Bachmann would be speaking at the event and she will join other notables such as Kris Kobach, Kansas Secretary of State and author of Arizona’s controversial SB1070.

Bachmann is the only presidential candidate to confirm. Others who have been invited include Tim Pawlenty, Sarah Palin, Herman Cain and Ron Paul.

Bachmann will share the stage with Bradlee Dean of You Can Run But You Cannot Hide, a religious group from her district that advocates the incarceration of gays and lesbians and once described Muslim countries that execute gays as “more moral” than American Christians. Also on hand will be prominent “birther” Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily, movement conservative David Horowitz, anti-Islam activist Joe Kaufman, and conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi.

It won’t be the first time that Bachmann has shared the stage with Bradlee Dean. In 2009, she headlined a fundraiser for the group and prayed for their ministry.

Wow. A kind of who’s who of paranoia and oppression. I can just see the session titles…

1. How to destroy public education in YOUR community.
2. Water striding insects: Blasphemy or miracle?
3. The devil wears dinosaur skins.

Praise Jebus, God hates freewill, Amen.

I am so hoping that when the congressional redistricting is done I won’t be in District 6 anymore. I want to be represented by someone who is at least semi-rational.

They are frightening – teaching our children to hate gays. They are home grown terrorist who’ve been given a pass by too many Americans.

Bachmann leads the way for the gullible and intellectually challenged. She is trying very hard to seem mainstream, but we know it is the biggest clown act in the big tent.
She seeks to end PP while sucking up Medicaid money from the state for the family mental health clinic.

The GOTP agenda is radical, designed to take any kind of social safety net like social security, and hand it over to Wall Street for looting-more Crash-o-nomics. A vote for the GOTP is a vote for Americans losing their freedoms and their future.
