Bachmann releases doctor’s letter on migraines
Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 4:08 pm
Shaken by anonymous accusations that U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota would be unable to perform presidential duties because she suffers from migraines, the Bachmann campaign released a letter from her doctor Wednesday stating she’s in good health.
The letter (below) points out that Bachmann can mostly control the migraines by avoiding triggers and taking medication.
The accusations appeared in the conservative Daily Caller this week. The story cited three anonymous sources who some in the blogosphere have speculated are doing the bidding of other Republican campaigns, although nothing’s been proven.
Bachmann’s rival for the Republican nomination, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, was the first to publicly criticize Bachmann on the migraines issue Wednesday.
“All of the candidates, I think, are going to have to be able to demonstrate they can do all of the job all of the time,” Pawlenty told Politico. ”There’s no real time off in that job.”

Big Hair Bad Makeup Bachmann calling on some of that Obamacare to bail her out of a jam… available only to the members former and currently in Congress.
She has a doctor’s note, how nice.

Not a Bachmann fan, but this whole thing is a distraction. It highlights the ridiculous and broken state of our politics. Bachmann is a crazy loon and this distracts from that.

We get the same headaches and take the same meds. I doubt my own ability to hold the office of the president. The drugs don’t always work, and when they do, I am left wiped out and feeling drugged. They are harsh meds.
And migraines are often stress-induced. That job is perhaps the most stressful one on the planet, and would subject her to intense scrutiny. Her headache frequency would certainly increase.
This doc doesn’t seem to have a long history with her. I’m not persuaded.
I have been very sick with these headaches before. They are not trivial.

Another lie from Bachmann. She has a disturbing patter of not being able to be straight and just tell the truth.

I’m sure her state-of-the-art, government sponsored, practically free Congressional’s Office of the Attending Physician’s note said all the right things.
ObamaCare strikes again!

Dear Minnesota: We in Iowa are concerned that Michele’s migraines may not just be incapacitating to her, but to our nation, due to their trigger of convoluted thought and their apparent contagiousness. Since Michele began her regular visits, we have noticed a significant rise in both tortuous non-logical thought and subsequent migraine symptoms.
However, unlike Michele’s regularly evidenced symptoms, including a wish to avoid the public, aversion to sounds, particularly anything which sounds like a logical argument, aversion to light, especially when it shines on something that looks suspiciously like discriminatory legislation, and an aura which is apparently interpreted as God smiling down on hatefulness, ours takes the form of blinding headache and a wish to be completely isolated from all forms of media utilized by Michele.
Regardless, due to the correlation between Michele’s visits and our headaches, we would like to request that you quarantine her for the good of the public. Health. The public health.
Thank you,
Iowa.
