Q & A with Arianna Huffington
Thursday, December 07, 2006 at 8:41 pm
Arianna Huffington, political personality and founder of The Huffington Post, the widely read online news and opinion source, is visiting Minnesota as the keynote speaker for the Minnesota Women’s Political Caucus’s Annual Lunch. She was kind enough to take time out of her schedule to answer a few questions from Minnesota Monitor.
Q: I understand you were just in Nebraska. As a former Omaha girl, I’m obligated to start out asking what did you think of the Cornhusker state?
They made this corn-fed Greek girl feel right at home.
Q: Minnesota has always had a history of being a progressive state, but the previous two elections have had the Republican Party claiming that we are turning purple. What do you think of the state of Minnesota politics, and would you say we’re still solidly blue politically, or is it just the cold?
You are still pretty blue to me

Polyamory is hot right now? Polyamory is hot right now? We have polygamy on HBO?
I find this alarming… and I am disappointed that I don’t know anything about HBO polygamy. I also don’t know what the reference to being in bed with Al Franken is about. Please explain and post links to pics…

Big Love is supposed to be a pretty good show But alas, I still can’t justify the cost of having HBO AND all the other channels that would be forced upon my cable bill.
A la carte cable anyone?
