I don’t like Michele Bachmann but Tipper is raight, the article is like the ones that claime that Obama is responsable for the thinks his pastor said or the the comment about the lipstik on the pig.
If people are upset about her not voting for a project, they are free to send some of their own money( We still free to do that)

The difference is that I’m not purporting to be a journalist.

My point is that the post is fabricating the idea that Michelle Bachmann is taking credit for things she chose to not fund. If the author could point out somewhere that Michelle Bachmann herself is saying, “I totally support financially and otherwise these specific things and always have,” it’d be a different story. That is, an accurate one.

Tipper, how does your comment improve on crappy journalism? Your comment is unclear, because you don’t state your points — instead you ask questions. You also use sarcasm. Sarcasm is an ineffective way to make a point. Then you end your comment with insults. Your comment is just more of the same thing — poorly constructed comments without value.

Bachmann presented herself as an ardent supporter

In that article? No, she didn't, but another person did. And since when is the only definition of support, "I will get federal funds for you"?

And Bachmann voted to strip funding for 11 individual projects in the bill—projects not unlike the refuge Discovery Center.

Is this a clever way of saying that she didn't actually not financially support the project that you are accusing her of not financially-supporting-but-then-saying-she-financially-supports?

Bachmann also paid a visit to the HealthEast Woodwinds Health Campus in Woodbury recently where, according to the Woodbury Bulletin, “HealthEast wanted to thank the congresswoman for her support on the appropriations award funded through the Labor Health and Human Services and Education bill.”

Wow. I'm impressed that Michelle Bachmann has time to write articles about herself in the Woodbury Bulletin. I had no idea the readership was such an important voting bloc. It certainly wasn't written by someone else! And, anyway, it's totally impossible for a representative to vote against a bill because s/he doesn't like some of the items. No one's ever done that before!

It's wonderful what passes for reporting these days. Viva la blogs, bringing crappy journalism to the masses.

Are there ANY clear and focused photos of Ms. Bachmann available anywhere?
Or does her close association with the “Focus on the Family” prohibit any such clarity?

I am getting so tired of these vaseline & cheesecloth images of Bachmann and McCain…

On tonight's (Sept 16 2008) CNN Larry King Live, Congresswoman Michelle Bachman claimed that Senator Obama's healthcare plan would provide a fully government run socialized healthcare system. Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz from Florida said Bachman was “just making this up.” Who is telling the truth? I think most persons in Minnesota probably know. Sigh.
