They want to help big corporations privatize their profits and socialize their risk at the expense of us the taxpayers. How many government bailouts have been put on the backs of the taxpayers just in the past two weeks .... that is Republican sponsored socialism my friends. Bachmann and Kline hand have been running around for months now screaming "Drill Baby Drill" and when the bill finally comes up for a vote to expand offshore drilling what do they do .... they vote AGAINST offshore drilling. The oil companies have made nearly a trillion dollars and in an economy where we are paying 300% more for gas and 50% more for milk and foreclosures and unemployment are at their highest points in decades and yet politicians like Davis, Bachmann, and Kline honestly think we, the Taxpayer, should give them MORE of our taxes. We are supposed to feel sorry for Big Oil? Get real. I for one am glad the democrate Tim Walz is standing up to these ridiculous politicians that are in the pocket of Big Oil.
