Paul Schmelzer posted Tina Fey’s season-opening SNL turn as Sarah Palin earlier this week. But there’s a better proto-Palin over at YouTube, where actor/comedian Lisa Donovan has racked up around half a million views with her parody of Palin’s interview with ABC’s Charlie Gibson. (Donovan, who posts as LisaNova, is also the auteur of an earlier buzz clip, “Is McCain Palin’s Bitch?”, as well as last spring’s “Hillary Clinton’s Sunset Boulevard.”)
Best bit:
GIBSON: Governor Palin, you claim to be a reformer. However, you did support the Bridge to Nowhere before you eventually came out against it.
PALIN: No, I didn’t.
GIBSON: It’s a matter of record. It’s a fact.
PALIN: Charlie, what is a fact, really? Let’s ask ourselves that. And do the American people really care about facts? I think not.
The video is below the jump.

Tina Fey, all the way…I’m hearing “I can see Russia from my HOUSE!” in my sleep at night.
