SurveyUSA Senate Approval Numbers

SurveyUSA has published their latest Senate approval poll results.  Minnesota’s current Senators, DFLer Mark Dayton and Republican Norm Coleman are showing surprisingly similar approve/disapprove numbers – Dayton is at 48/41, Coleman at 49/42.  This bodes ill for Coleman – the road to 2008 is long, and a lot can happen between now and then, but one has to wonder how much opportunity Coleman will have to get his name in the news with a Democratic Senate and a potentially high-profile DFL primary to oppose him.
