Peterson’s fund-raising figures delayed by Tennessee tornado

Rep. Collin Peterson has a pretty good excuse for not yet filing his first-quarter fund-raising figures with the Federal Elections Commission. The 10-term legislator’s campaign treasurer is his son, Elliot Peterson, who lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. On Friday Elliot’s home was destroyed by a tornado that killed three people.
