The sole U.S. senator for Minnesota has managed to make some Supreme Court-nominee shortlists — despite having a Republican in the governor’s mansion who’d appoint her replacement. But Slate didn’t include Amy Klobuchar in its vetting-by-video of would-be high-court jurists.

The last stunt, Mickey Kaus at Slate writes, is “always to drop all the stunts.” And he wonders if that’s what Sen.
