Hutchinson is considering Atomic Crane’s request to turn its proposed 51,000-square-foot factory by 90 degrees so the the front doors will face Highway 7 rather than the Best Western Victorian Inn. The company makes huge cranes for nuclear power plants. The hotel’s suites boast “beautiful Victorian decor.” And ne’er the twain shall meet, pending the Hutchinson Planning Commission’s proclamation.
